Pleomorphic Adenoma of Palatal Minor Salivary Glands with Bone Infiltration: Case Report with Long-term Follow-up

Abstract Intraoral pleomorphic adenoma is a rare entity, with the most common site of appearance being palate. As benign lesion, it rarely involves underlying structures. The aim to present case palatal (cellular) bone involvement, reference clinical and histological features tumour, emphasis on diagnostic therapeutic management comparison findings similar studies in literature. Pleomorphic adenomas minor salivary glands remain rather condition, unusual infiltrate adjacent bone. A thorough imaging histological/cytological examination should always be performed define or malignant nature preoperatively.
